The art of gossiping, gabbing and chatting with awesome book bloggers!
Today, I'm featuring AUGGIE from AUGGIE TALK!
Thanks for stopping by! Let the Banter begin!
Blogging Since: 2012
Lives in: United States
Solo (blogger), duo, trio...: I run the blog but I have a beautiful contributor, Tori, who submits occasional reviews and participates in weekly memes.
Print or eBooks: Print!
Average number of books read a month: Anywhere between 5 and 10
Favorite Genre: Middlegrade Fantasy
Book Boyfriend: Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle
Rating System: Ink Quills!
Auggie Talk was originally a blab blog full of just whatever. My very first book-related post that started off the book blog was centered around ice-storms but I brought up one of my favorite books, ABARAT, and chatted about it for a bit. That was January 21, 2012.
First Book Reviewed: Ransom Riggs “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”.
The Witch of the Waste from “Howl’s Moving Castle” by Diana Wynne Jones is a good example of a really infuriating antagonist that ends up surprising you in the end. Also, of course, Snape from the Harry Potter series.
Maybe a much longer version of “Alone” by Bruno Coulais from the movie “Coraline”.
Of course animations count! I've never seen this one but it looks pretty awesome :)
Best: I get to share my love of books with other book lovers, it’s relevant to my career, and I have the opportunity to meet great authors and readers alike.
Worst: Running up against authors, readers, or other book bloggers who are discourteous. But really, that happens anywhere you are and it’s certainly not specific to the book blogging sphere. Overall, though, I’d say book-people are all pretty easy to get along with! So this scenario is pretty rare.
Write out the recipe for the perfect love potion.
1 load of Admiration
2 big heaps of Friendship
1 bucket of Starshine
1 pack of Playfulness
1 cup of Comfort
A bit o’ really good Wine (however much you want, really) Ha! Yeeeessss....
First mix Admiration and Friendship together
Pour in the starshine and let boil until sparks fly.
Toss in that Playfullness and then stir in your cup of comfort to calm down the concoction.
Add Wine for a bit of a kick. ;)
I LOVED your recipe. Uber cute and creative :)
