Who doesn't like a hunky football star and a spunky FBI agent thrown together in order to uncover who is mysterious (and dangerous) stalker is? What more can you ask for out of a good romance novel?
The writing was good. The heroine, Rebecca, wants to do her job and be the best FBI agent she can be after having a childhood that was less-than-perfect (to say the least). The hero, Gage, had a good family life and has done well for himself in his chosen career, but is bothered by a stalker who is slowly getting worse.
It's an unlikely situation - an FBI agent posing as the girlfriend of a star in order to find out who his stalker is - though it does make for some good sparks to fly. I loved when he took her back to his home for Thanksgiving and the family scenes there. Some of the dialogue could use a little work (one of those situations where the author made the characters say some things that I didn't think were realistically what a person would say) but it wasn't bad enough where I thought about putting the book down.
The only other thing I wished for out of the book was a little bit more football (as a sports fan) but I know that wasn't the point of the book. I'll just say that it's worth picking up if you're looking for a quick romance read.
