In this novel we have Sara, a ghostwriter, and Seth, a ghost writer, and they fall in love with each other. It happens on an island where Sara, who has been contracted to ghostwrite a politician's biography, has rented out the house where her favourite writer, Seth Fortner, wrote his books in the first quarter of the 20th century.
Each main character tries to come to terms with their own problems. Sara would like to change her relationship with her domineering mother. Little is actually known about Seth's time as an ambulance driver in France during WWI, but Sara discovers unsent letters hidden in the attic and reads about the trauma and the subsequent post-traumatic disorder that Seth is still going through
Ghostwriter' is an agreeably written paranormal romance with fantasy twists, that is bound to please fans of this genre.
