Sophia can imagine lots of ways to improve her life, but she'd settle for just getting rid of the buzzing noise in her head. When the spell she casts goes wrong, the static turns into voices. Her personal demons get company, and the newcomers are dangerous.

One of them is a man named Charles, who Sophia falls for despite her better judgment. He has connections that might help her unveil the mystery surrounding her ancestor's hanging, but she gets more than she bargains for when she finally decides to trust him.

Survival in his world, she learns, means not asking questions and staying out of the immortal council's way. It's a line she crossed long ago. If Sophia wants to survive the council and save the people she loves, she must accept who she is, perform dark magic, and fight to the death for her freedom.

The Forever Girl is a full-length Paranormal Fantasy novel that will appeal to lovers of paranormal romance, urban fantasy, witches, vampire fiction, ghost stories, paranormal mystery, and paranormal horror.

There are many book books, but The Forever Girl by Rebecca Hamilton is a book you can describe as being awesome, wonderful, amazing. It’s a totally new universe that readers will discover while reading.

It’s about Sophia, and her family’s secrets and curses. It’s an really interesting book, a delicious book if you can name it that way.

Good Points/What I liked:

*Rebecca Hamilton is a pure genius. The writing is brilliant, excellent. I could name her one of best debuting authors of the year.

*Except from witches, there are many other creatures. I’ve saw other supernatural species. For me, that’s something very good. I don’t really like books where everything is about only 1 creature(it doesn’t matter which one is)

*Wicca there. I love that Mrs. Hamilton added some real, but enigmatic things.

*Originality. The Forever Girl and its universe, characters, story is unique in the world. That’s what many readers want to read, something that doesn’t look like stole from 5 other authors. Something no one wrote ever.

*Vampires, Witches, other supernatural species, were made other way than other books. I didn’t saw many similarities with S. Meyer’s or L.J. Smith’s vampires. I repeat, originality

*Good quality. This may be thanks to IIP, Immortal Ink Publishing, but this good first look quality made readers be attracted to hit even before reading.

What I disliked

*Almost nothing, however, few low points. Some characters that doesn’t have big role in the story, however they are show pretty much. Like Lauren, she’s there pretty much, and not having such a big role in the story will make few readers think she’s a bit annoying or something like that

I will go back to universe because this was one of best things this book had. There were five elements(fire, water, air, earth and spirit), which is okay, but these elements being tied with a supernatural creature each one. These elements being very important in Wicca. Okay!

Sophia is a witch, then her elements is spirit. I love the way elements and the creatures were tied together. Water element is for Strigoi, some kind of shifters. Nice idea of adding strigoi. Except The Vampire Academy I don’t see any strigoi in literature. I don’t know how much this element would fit them, but shifters are the guys who changes their form, etc., etc. , just like water changes from being fluid to ice(a solid thing) or being dries(becoming steam). Changing, changing….

For Earth, there are Cruors, the vampires, my beloved vampires. I’m so happy that Mrs. Hamilton didn’t forgot about them. Interesting change from Vampires to Cruors, the look alike(after all they’re vampires), but the name, there’s something special about Cruors, this being the reason why she changed their names from Vampires. Ankou is the creature tied with element Air. It’s said they’re fairy-like creepy beings, but I don’t find them really creepy. C’mon, fairies are cute, good things, if the creature is bad, this doesn’t mean it’s creepy. And the last, but not worst, the Chibold, fire element’s creature, which looks like children, but not creepy.

Sorry, but I don’t want to give reader many spoilers, because best reading is when you don’t know what’s on the next page. So read it until the final. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I’d recommend it to fans of paranormal. The Forever Girl is the first book in the Forever Girl series, and the next book is going to be released sometime next year.
