30+ books for you to check out — Part 1

This is the first of a multi-part series. I'm cleaning out my list of Amazon Shout Outs because I'm going to redesign the sign up process. There's more than 30 books that I haven't featured yet. Here's the first set (10 of them); they are in the order in which I received them. For this clean-out series I am not bothering with genre.

Ancient Enemies

After the discovery of a D.N.A. trace, Josh is pulled back into action to once again protect his family from an ancient evil that refuses to rest in peace. After years of watching everyone else find love, it’s finally Josh’s turn, but it comes at a price. Finding more victims of the Puritan Vampire, one long dead and two more living children carrying the blood viral disease.

New Beginnings

For Megumi, her happy life was destroyed when she was a small child, violence leading her into more violence until she was saved by the Zogone, alien race. On their home planet she has a chance for a new life with an alien solider who needs her more than anyone else. But after a space battle that leads to them being taken hostage by a goddess, Megumi starts to think of what her life of violence cost her and fears she may never see Earth again much less the man, her one true love, that she left behind.

Take This Regret

There are some mistakes we make that we will regret for the rest of our lives. For Christian Davison, it was the day he betrayed Elizabeth Ayers. For five years, Christian has regretted the day he walked away from his family and will do anything to win them back. Can Elizabeth forgive someone who has committed the unforgiveable? Or are there some wounds that go so deep they can never heal?

Smart Shield

Only two people of stature and authority respect Don Milkey, private eye. One of them is murdered, and the other one did it. Tracking down the killer is the job of Donald Milkey and Associates, a business enterprise that is a work of fiction in its own right. A less-than-professional staff, an absence of a business office, a budget supplemented by his part-time security jobs, all appear to be limitations to the Milkey and Associates investigation. But, for Milkey, he has sufficient resources for the job.

North of Need

Two years after Megan Snow lost her husband on Christmas Day, she is once again spending the holiday at the cabin, alone, when Owen Winters lands on her doorstep. Owen’s identity and purpose is a mystery Megan must unravel, except a voice she hears insists she’s not ready to know the truth. Knowing it’s crazy, she takes the voice’s advice and bides her time, slowly falling for Owen as she gets to know him. Unfortunately, snow god Owen’s time is unexpectedly limited—he has only four days to get her to love him or he’ll melt away.

The Dolls

It all started with a bad decision. Meeting someone from a social networking site is risky. Shari took a chance on Jill McCain. Jill and her fiancé’, Ivan were an odd pair. Nevertheless, they seemed to be good people. Ivan was a flamboyant gypsy and Jill was a retired talent agent who specialized in female mud wrestlers. Chicago was a real melting pot. When Shari’s cousin, Tara came to visit, from Ireland, they had a barbeque in her honor. Then they invited the cousins to join them at their luxurious villa in Spain. Who could resist?

The cousins realized that the couple was eccentric, but they were harmless…or were they? Ivan was flirtatious and his signature greeting of wet kisses to the hand was a bit unnerving, but… Jill was moody and rough around the edges, but…They tried to ignore the red flags until it was too late. The strange couple had lured them into an evil trap. Who could have imagined the horror their hosts had in store for the lovely cousins?

Trixie & Me

Trixie and Berry are trapped on an alien space ship. Berry can't move, but he seems to understand what's going on. Trixie is confused, she has no recollection of how they ended up in the dark depths of an alien war craft. She struggles to comprehend even the simplest of concepts, struggling to speak, but she is free of her chains, so she is Berry's only hope. They must escape their captors and warn humanity about this sinister threat coming from the galactic core.

Second Chances: Love Lost, Love Found

Second Chances follows the lives of Jane Porter and Mike Farley, two young people who live on adjoining ranchers and have been in love with each other since they were kids. Can Mike redeem himself with sweet Jane after committing the ultimate betrayal to their love? The blossoming romance between their parents, Liz Farley and Jim Porter, gives an added dimension to the overall storyline.

Augur of Armageddon

The end of days is a story told many times over but never really has an end. Here we find the true meaning of the end of days and the beginning of the millennium to come. Kindra is a simple woman, young and attractive working to make a life for herself. Scarred by tragedy she continues, unaware of the fate her and the rest of the world will endure.

Blueberry Truth

Beanie MacKenzie and her husband Mac have led perfect lives. Now they have the perfect home, a big house on a quiet Albany street, just perfect for raising a big family. Only the babies they’ve been trying so hard to conceive just won’t come.

Enter seven-year-old Blueberry Truth Crowley, a fiercely independent child whose life had been anything but perfect. Truth throws a monkey wrench into Beanie’s life--challenging Beanie’s notions of motherhood, commitment, and family. But their unlikely bond may be just the thing to teach them both about love.
